제목 | The effect of plasticizers on battery properties of secondary Li/S polymer battery. |
초록 | Since the first commercialization by Sony Energytech in the early 1990s, secondary lithium ion battery (LIB) has become a major product that dominates the market for small rechargeable battery. Recently it needs new material to meet the demand of the customer for small, light and high capacity battery. Among many candidates as active material of cathode, sulfur is the most prospective one because it has the advantages such as low cost, non-poisonous properties, and high energy density (about 1670mAh/g based on Li2S). The secondary Li/S batteries consist of a composite cathode, a polymer electrolyte, and a lithium anode. The composite cathode is made from elemental sulfur(or lithium sulfide), carbon black, PEO, LiClO4 , and acetonitrile. The anode is made from lithium metal and polymer electrolyte is used as various types such as gel-type, solid type or coated type. In the present study, the polymer electrolyte is made of coated membrane with linear poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO) on separator. And we investigate performance and electrochemical properties of Li/S polymer secondary batteries with various plasticizers. |
