제목 Sustained release of nifedipine from multi-coated bead containing porous membrane and various excipients
초록 Such oral drug delivery systems are based on osmosis. Water in medium is diffused throughout the bead, because of osmotic pressure.1 To improve release profile of nifedipine(ND) bead, water absorption force is important. So, we prepared for ND beads by fluidized bed coating.2
Osmotic agent, KCl, was added to the inside of bead to improve water absorption force. So, release rate was increased because of increased osmotic pressure. Also, aging tests were examined for storage. The problem occurred during aging test by plasticizer and was solved by remove plasticizers of liquid type. Finally, the optimal release profile was obtained by bead size, membrane thickness and several excipients.
