Synthesis and characterization of polymeric nanoparticles with an oxygen-sensitive phosphor chemically conjugated |
초록 |
There has been remarkably increased interest in sensing oxygen levels quantitatively for both physiological and pathological models for the preceding few years. Conventional strategies for measurement of oxygen levels include commercially available oxygen electrodes and oxygen-sensing luminophores. However, the oxygen electrodes are difficult to adapt to the small size scales relevant to oxygen diffusion limits within tissue. Here, we report the synthesis and characterization of the oxygen-sensitive phosphor conjugated polymeric nanoparticles. Upon our synthesis, we performed optical responses of the oxygen-sensing nanoparticles dispersed in water under various partial pressures of oxygen. Our materials and technique to integrate them together could have broader versatility for various biomedical applications in vitro and in vivo. |
