Supercapacitors have attracted great attention by many researchers as next generation energy storage devices. Among them, many researches have been conducted on conducting polymer-based supercapacitors due to their unique advantages such as fast and reversible redox reaction and high specific capacitance. However, in order to apply the conducting polymer to the electrodes for the supercapacitor, it is necessary to overcome the low reliability of the conducting polymer due to the low mechanical strength and short life cycle. Therefore, in this study, nanomaterial composite electrodes based on conducting polymers, which can realize higher storage capacity and excellent cycle stability through the introduction of various materials, were prepared. These materials were applied to two-electrode symmetric and asymmetric supercapacitors, and the electrical and electrochemical properties of the fabricated devices were compared and analyzed. |
