제목 Synthesis of the Wide Band Gap Polymer Based on BDP and BT Derivatives for Non-Fullerene Polymer Solar Cells
초록  The high efficiency polymer solar cells (PSCs) at present use the blend of fullerene derivatives and low band gap polymers, many of which suffer problems with stability and synthetic scalability. Especially, the fullerene derivatives have issues with cost, stability and limited spectral absorption.
Recently, rapid progress has been made in non-fullerene PSCs (NF-PSCs) based on ITIC. In ITIC-PSCs, the deep LUMO levels of wide band gap (WBG) polymers can appropriately match those of the typical ITIC, this ensures efficient exciton dissociation and maximizes Voc of the resulting devices. Moreover, ITIC exhibits absorption band in the 600-800 nm, the WBG polymer with absorption spectra complementary to those of the ITIC is strongly desired for achieving optimal light harvesting.
In this study, we synthesized and characterized the new WBG polymer using benzodithiophene (BDP) and benzothiadiazole (BT). We also fabricated the devices based on these WBG polymer with PC71BM and ITIC.
