In this research, we designed HKUST-1@carbon hybrid materials to enhance the hydrostability of HKUST-1. First, carbon materials with dual pores (~14nm and ~300nm) as porous matrix for the HKUST-1@carbon hybrid materials were successfully prepared by nano-replication technique. Second, HKUST-1@carbon hybrid materials were synthesized by spontaneous physical dispersion of HKUST-1 crystals inside the pores of carbon through solvothermal method. And in order to easily put HKUST-1 into the large pores of carbon, regulation of morphology and size of HKUST-1 were controlled by "coordination modulation method", in which sodium acetate as modulator was used for miniaturizing the size of HKUST-1 crystals to the nanometer scale. HKUST-1@carbon hybrid materials were also synthesized under different conditions (including reaction temperature, stirring speed and the amount of sodium acetate). |
