제목 Modified Zeolite Based Catalysts for Efficient Chemical Hydrolysis of PET into Valuable Chemicals
초록 As increasing plastic waste contamination on the earth due to intrinsic properties of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), especially remarkable persistency and low or absence of enzymes for catabolizing degradation of PET, recycling PET to valuable chemicals has been studied for decades. Here, we introduce modified Zeolite-based catalysts which enable facilely recoverable and neutral reaction condition for microwave assisted PET hydrolysis into terephthalic acid (TPA). Catalytic properties of modified Zeolite based catalyst was recovered by simple regeneration process.
