New four non fullerene acceptors by modifying the end group in the A-D-A structure based on IB, named IB-TOT, IB-TOM, IB-IOO, IB-IOM for near infrared organic solar cell(NIR OSC) were synthesized and PTB7-Th:NFA NIR OSCs were manufactured in this research. IB-IOO and IB-IOM showed lower bandgap than IB-TOT and IB-TOM. IB-TOM and IB-IOM based devices show better power conversion efficiency than IB-IOO and IB-IOM based devices. Morphological analysis of the photoactive layer was conducted and confirmed the donor and IB-IOO and IB-IOM aren’t well mixed, phase separation of the donor and IB-IOO and IB-IOM is larger than IB-TOT and IB-TOM and crystallinity by self-assembly increased more than IB-TOT and IB-TOM as the phase separation increases. It’s important to use a non fullerene acceptor with a low bandgap and mixed well with donor to make a good performance near-infrared organic solar cell. |
