Extraction of Salinity Gradient Energy with Hybrid Super-capacitor System |

Salinity Gradient energy is a rising renewable alternatives that are clean without any by-products. Capacitive Mixing (CAPMIX), a reverse application of super-capacitor system, was developed as a novel energy extraction technology. The composition and material of the capacitive cell electrodes are main factors to collect salinity gradient energy. In this study, we have successfully demonstrated to generate energy by using asymmetric hybrid super-capacitor system that have battery and super-capacitor electrodes. Electrochemical property such as capacitance and impedance of the electrodes were investigated |
