A series of biodegradable and non-toxic A-B-A triblock copolymers containing lactide acid oligomers (DPav ; 5, 12, 15, 25, 32) were synthesized by ring opening polymerization of D- and L-lactide in the presence of Pluronic F127. The stereocomplexes formation was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry, and wide-angle X-ray diffraction. DSC and XRD analysis exhibited that the stereocomplex crystallinity was present in D- and L-oligomers of lactide acid at a DP ≥ 25. The lengths of the lactide acid oligomers in the triblock copolymer play an important role of the thermoresponsive sol-gel transition, mechanical property, gel stability and protein delivery. Furthermore, the blends of stereocomplex and Pluronic F127 were more enhanced the gel stability by physically crosslinked structure. |
