제목 Effect of molecular weight and pendant group on poly(carbonate diol)-based Polyurethane to be applied as a barrier film
초록 Thermoplastic poly(carbonatediol)-polyurethane (PCD-PU) series were synthesized using one-fixed IPDI and three types of PCD, which functionalized as the different molecular weight and with/without the pendant alkyl groups. Mechanical and physical properties of PCD-PU were evaluated by UTM, DSC, UV-spectrometer, and WVTR analysis. The transmittance of individual PCD-PU gradually increased from 77.82% to 92.15% with the presence of the pendant alkyl group. Water vapor permeability values of PCD-PU series varied from 200 to 36 g/m2day.
