DPA-AA-DPT and TPA-AA-DPT with bipolar property were synthesized by substituting electron donor and acceptor as side groups of a dual core (AA-core) only based on anthracene. Diphenyl amine and triphenyl amine were used as electron donors. Triazine derivatives were used as electron acceptors. UV absorption curves of DPA-AA-DPT and TPA-AA-DPT according to solvent were similar, but PL spectra of DPA-AA-DPT were red-shifted with increase in dielectric constant of the solvent. In case of TPA-AA-DPT, PL shift according to the solvent was greater and spectra had high FWHM compared to DPA-AA-DPT. In the EL device used as non-doped emitting layer, DPA-AA-DPT and TPA-AA-DPT showed high luminous efficiency of 12.6 cd/A and 10.9 cd/A respectively, along with low roll-off result at high current density. |
