Synthesis and Electroluminescent Properties of Phenothiazyl Derivatives Containing Triphenylamine Moiety |

Starbust amine m-MTDATA or 2-TNATA compound acting the role of the hole injection layer(HIL), has been inserted to improve device efficiency and durability. These compounds have Triphenylamine moiety. We propose new phenothiazine derivative containing Triphenylamine moiety for HIL material. We synthesized the new conjugated compound, Tris-{4-[10-(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)-10H-phenothiazin-3-yl]-phenyl}-amine. ( TPPPA ), and characterized electrochemical and optical properties by Cyclic Voltammetry, UV-Vis and photoluminescence spectroscopy. ITO/ TPPPA(60nm)/NPB(15nm)/Alq3 (70nm)/ LiF(1nm)/ Al(200nm) device showed typical I-V characteristics and normal green EL light. OLEDs devices using phenothiazine as HIL layer showed high luminescence efficiency of 3.00cd/A and 1.18lm/W |
