Morphologies and Characteristics of Crosslinked PAM Beads with Highly Dual Porous Structures |
초록 |
Crosslinked polyacrylamide beads with highly dual porosity were prepared by sedimentation polymerization. It was used O/W/O system to make dual porous materials. The internal oil phase including mineral oil was formed interconnected macropores(~10 ㎛) obtained as a templating method. The water phase including polystyrene colloid which was synthesized by free-surfactant polymerization can be formed micropores(150~200 ㎚) by colloid templating. The internal oil phase (showing macropores) were cleaned and removed by washing with n-hexane. PS particles as a templating material (showing micropores) were extracted out by using toluene. The pore size and pore size distribution of the beads were obtained by using Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry. The morphology such as dual pore structures measured using SEM, TEM and Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy(CLSM). |
