제목 Highly uniform planar alignment of supramolecular dendrimers in micro-channels via template-assisted self-assembly
초록 Self-assembly of soft building block has received an intense attention for a long time due to its profound impact on nano-patterning fabrication. Very importantly, supramolecular dendrimers have the extraordinary merits such as a fast stabilization time to highly regular ordered structure and small size feature. A long-range order with specific orientation have to be secured prior to its potential application. In this research, we synthesize the tapered suprmolecular dendrimer having thermotropic liquid crystalline properties. We investigate the alignment and ordering of this synthetic supramolecular column in micro-channel with various geometry, surface anchoring. The orientation and ordering of cylindrical supramolecule is studied by using POM, AFM, GISAXD, and TEM. We secure a long-range planar alignment of supramolecular column in micro-channels. We anticipate this research will be a step-stone for creating a large-area perfect alignment of column and its potential application.
