Among the therapeutic systems, the nanovector platform has recently been attracting attention. It is possible to perform simultaneously controlled release of a therapeutic agent specifically for cancer and to enable sensitive imaging. However, the conventional nanovectors are not suitable for biomedical applications due to the unstable particle formation in serum condition. In addition, when the imaging agent is loaded, the charge balance of the nanovector is altered which causes the nanovector to have a different pharmacokinetics compared to when only the drug is loaded. Thus, we have developed a new delivery vector that does not require the loading of imaging agents. By synthesizing the theranostic nanovector with the fluorescent itself,a higher stability and cellular uptake is obtained by only loading therapeutic molecules. |
