Evaluation of Oxygen Transfer Capacity of CLC Particles Based on MgMnAlO4 Spinel Structure. |

Chemical Looping Combustion technology allows oxygen donor particles to indirectly burn methane through two reactors, CO2 generated at this time can be separated without separate separation facility and classified as next generation low pollution technology. Therefore, in this study, the structure of MgMnAlO4 was formed by substituting Al and skeleton for Mg, which is commonly used as a conventional low-cost particle, and Mg was substituted with Cu to improve the oxygen transfer capacity. The oxygen delivery performance was confirmed at 15 %-CH4/CO2 atmosphere at 850 °C and oxygen transfer was confirmed at a maximum of 7.62 wt%. Physicochemical properties of the particles were confirmed by XRD, XPS, H2-TPR, CH4 and CO-TPD. SEM and TEM were used to confirm the surface characteristics. In addition, to confirm the structural characteristics between the reactions, the characteristics of the particles were also checked by analyzing the XRD structure before, after, and after the reaction. |
