The anti-reflective coatings are widely used to increase the transmittance of light through interfaces. To minimize the reflection at interfaces, the various technologies have been extensively investigated including vacuum deposition of AR coating, moth-eye anti-reflective structure (ARS), and sol-gel AR coating. In this study, various sized silica nanoparticles are synthesized with Stöber method using tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS), ethanol and water. The multilayer graded-refractive index AR coatings are fabricated using the silica nanoparticles by dip coating method. The surface morphology of the silica nanoparticles is analyzed by SEM and TEM . The surface morphology of the AR coating is investigated by AFM. The AR effect, contact angle, and refractive index of AR coating films are analyzed by UV-visible spectrometer, Phoenix 300 plus, and ellipsometer, respectively. |
