Well controllable micro-particles have been fabricated by facile and simple molding method and investigated for applications in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and lab-on-a-chip devices, and drug-delivery systems. Herein, based on controllable micro-particles, we present switchable adhesive patch with magnetic particles and showed the possibility of controllable micro-particles in interface application. Biocompatible and highly reactive magnetic particles are fabricated by molding and reaping technology and mounted in a micro-structured patch to control the adhesion of patch. We observed the various motions and assemblies of particles in patch, which are having temporary fixed due to high intensity of their magnetic momentums. Change in external magnetic field results in dynamic exchange of the assembly of the particles and controls the adhesion of patch. Furthermore, the patch system can be developed to create controlled drug release system and suggesting promising cost-effective method for potential uses in medical applications. |
