제목 A Self-Assembly Route to Porous Nanocomposites of Low-Dimensional Nanostructures with Visible Light Photocatalyst Functions
초록 We have synthesized a series of nanocomposite-type visible light active photocatalysts via self-assembly between two oppositely charged low-dimensional nanostructured semiconductors. As a precursor, the nanosheets of cationic layered double hydroxide (LDH) and anionic layered titanate are synthesized by the exfoliation process of the pristine layered inorganic solids. The obtained nanosheets are reassembled with each other or hybridized with other 0D nanoparticles like metal hydroxide nanoclusters or quantum dots. The band structure and surface area of layered titanate could be effectively tailored through the hybridization with LDH nanosheets or 0D nanoparticles. These nanocomposites show promising photocatalytic activity to effectively decompose organic compounds or to produce H2/O2 gases under the irradiation of visible light.
