It is said that the dependent variable has reached ‘saturation’ when the dependent variable does not change even if the input variable was increased. Since the dependent variable does not change as the input variable changes after the saturation point, normal control is not achieved. In this study, we propose a solution to solve this problem by setting a new dependent variable added to the input variable, so that the dependent variable can change with respect to the input variable even after the saturation point. The results of this study can be applied to various processes with saturation points such as control of heat at boiling point and feed control in bio reactor for the number of bacteria. In this study, the saturation phenomenon was created by overflowing the liquid in the liquid level control system, and the control method presented above was applied. As a result, remarkable control performance has been observed and it can be applied to other processes by improving it. |
