Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are now crossing certified 23.2 % power conversion efficiency (PCE), however, the cost of hole extraction layer (HEL), self-stability of organic cations, air-thermal-moisture stability are challenging tasks for its commercial application. The above mentioned problems could be tackled via different aspects which includes the synthesis of perovskite layer via stable two-dimensional (2D) perovskite, with or without cation doping, replacement of poor stable methylammonium (MA)-cation free perovskite and capping with low-cost, air-thermal-stable inorganic materials will be the best choice towards highly efficient air-thermal-stable PSCs. In the present talk, we focused the current strategies in perovskite photovoltaics for making stable PSCs towards air-thermal-moisture stability via low-cost, easily processed components without hampering its efficiency and shared our views towards commercialization. |
