Highly soluble ferrocene deravative as a fuel additives |
초록 |
The present work aims to increase the solubility of ferrocene in fuel and efficiency of the fuel performance by convert the solid ferrocene to oily ferrocene derivatives. The syntheses were performed on the basis of Friedal Craft’s reaction with cost effective acid clay catalyst and various allyl and benzyl alcohols. In this method some allyl derivatives of ferrocene show the efficient miscibility with kerosene and produce 4 to 6 % 0f Fe content. The iron is generally added to a fuel at 5-50ppm whereas sample are evaluated in this study were 40000-60000 ppm which can be diluted to 1000-10000 times. The miscibility of oily ferrocene derivatives were investigated from room temperature to -20 °C by 3 months, some of the allyl derivatives of ferrocene show clear solution on this period of time. |
