제목 Effects of Nylon Content on Thermal and Mechanical Properties of Epoxy/Nylon Blending
초록 In this study, the epoxy resins were blended with different contents of nylon, which were observed the effect of nylon from 0 to 40 wt.% on thermal and mechanical properties. The thermal and mechanical properties of blending were analyzed using differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and universal test machine (UTM). As a result, the curing behavior of epoxy/nylon blending can be seen that the exothermic peak temperature was shifted to higher temperature with increasing the nylon content, which indicated that the curing reaction of epoxy was retarded by the addition of nylon. Also, the fracture thoughness and impact strength of theblending were also discussed in the addition of nylon.
