Molecularly imprinted fullerene-silica composite nanoparticles for highly sensitive and selective recognition of diethylstilbestrol |
초록 |
We investigate a facile sensing assay of diethylstilbestrol (DES) by fabricating the molecularly imprinted C60-silica composite (FSC) nanoparticles. In FSC, the fullerene carbons are linked to the silica network by oxide bonds. The template-silica precursor is prepared by the reaction between 3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl isocyanate and DES. Selective binding sites are introduced into the silica network by the sol-gel reaction and the subsequent extraction of DES from the silica matrix. Due to the adequate proximity of the recognition sites to FSC, a notable PL quenching derived from the electron transfer between FSC and DES can be observed. The amount of PL quenching of FSC is dependent on the concentration of DES. The Stern-Volmer quenching constant of FSC toward DES is about 5 times higher than those toward any other structural analogs. The molecularly imprinted FSC nanoparticles exhibit good molecular recognition properties toward DES in terms of both sensitivity and selectivity. |
