Wetting Properties and Applications of Comb-Like Poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) Derivatives |
초록 |
The control of surface wetting properties is very useful for many practical applications. Wetting properties of flat polymeric surfaces are mainly affected by the molecular and chemical structures. Comb-like polymers with functional side chains have been widely used to investigate the correlation between molecular structure and wettability. In this study, we investigated wetting properties and surface molecular structures of various comb-like poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) derivatives. Their potential applications such as liquid crystal alignment layer and antifouling film with biocompatible property and/or antibacterial property were also evaluated. |
