Fischer-Tropsch synthesis on carbon-coated cobalt-based catalysts |
초록 |
Cobalt-based Fischer-Tropsch catalysts have been widely investigated to obtain a high catalytic performance. The modification of of SiO2 and Al2O3 is generally carried out by employing promoters. However, some disadvantages of these bare metal oxide supports are found to form the inactive cobalt phases during calcination or reaction steps. Therefore, carbon support has been largely investigated to suppress the formation of inactive cobalt phase. In the present investigation, we have studied the cobalt-based catalysts on the carbon-coated Ni/Al2O3 and Ni/SiO2 supports which were obtained from dry reforming of CH4 with CO2. Catalytic activity was compared in terms of the amount of carbon formation on supports. |
