제목 Enhanced mechanical and adhesive performances of UV-curable acrylate resin by polyisobutylene-functionalized carbon nano-fiber  
초록 Carbon nanofibers (CNFs) have been recognized as an effective filler with excellent mechanical properties and good compatibility with common polymer matrix. Polyisobutylene (PIB) is preferred over other polymers, since it has a high binding ability with CNFs which will be good for preventing the aggregation of CNFs. In present work, we have investigated the improvement of mechanical and adhesive properties of UV-cured films by including PIB-functionalized CNFs (PIB-CNFs). We employed two different methodologies for the functionalization of PIB with CNFs. One is a solvent-free functionalization, in which CNFs and amine terminated PIB were reacted in the presence of isoamyl nitrite. The other is a non-covalent approach, in which PIB was made to wrap around the CNFs. The PIB-CNFs were dispersed in acrylate resin and UV-cured to form adhesive films. Mechanical and adhesive properties of prepared acrylate films were investigated and fully characterized by SEM, FT-IR, and UTM measurements.
