To characterize a unique diblock copolymers that have functional groups for network gel-forming system. |
초록 |
We characterized a unique diblock copolymer network gel-forming system with controllable intra- and intermolecular interactions. FLA was synthesized with a benzyloxymethyl group at the 3-position of the lactide for subsequent derivatization. CL and fLA monomers were randomly copolymerized with varying feed ratios to prepare methoxy polyethylene glycol. PCL-ran-PfLA diblock copolymers. The diblock copolymers with varying PCL and PfLA ratios were further derivatized with benzyl, hydroxyl, or carboxylic acid groups. The MPEG-b-(PCL-ran-PfLA) diblock copolymer solutions exhibited sol-to-gel phase transitions upon a temperature increase which depended on both the type of functional pendant group on the PfLA and the PfLA content in the PCL segment. MCxLy-COOH diblock copolymer solutions immediately formed gels in vivo. and gradually degraded over a period of 0-6 weeks after injection. The MPEG-PCfLA diblock copolymer can be utilized as a potential injectable drug and cell carrier. |
