제목 Biotemplated Synthesis of Semiconductor Cu2S Hollow Spheres by Simple Wet Chemical Method
초록 A green approach to synthesize semiconductor nanomaterials using biotemplates has been subjected to intense research due to several advantages.Uracil as a biotemplate offers the benefits of eco-friendliness, low-cost and scale-up for large scale production. In the present study we report the Synthesis of novel Cu2S hollow spheres nanostructures using Uracil as a biotemplate by a simple wet chemical method at low reaction temperatures. At low reaction temperature (80 °C), a specific complexation between Copper ion, TEA and biotemplate, by decomposition of thiourea to form amorphous hollow sphere morphology and by further annealing in H2S ambient leads to formation of pure crystalline hexagonal phase of Cu2S hollow spheres and it was confirmed from X-ray diffraction pattern XRD. The morphology of the Cu2S hollow spheres has been studied by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) analysis. The optical properties of these Cu2S hollow spheres were investigated by andthe ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy regions indicates that the Cu2S hollow spheres are promising in the development of photovoltaic devices.
