A self-powered lead-halide perovskite based deep-UV photodetector was prepared by solution process. By utilizing a heterojunction of a mixed FA0.85MA0.15Pb(Br0.07I0.93)3 perovskite as a photo-absorber layer and spiro-OMeTAD as hole injection layer in a vertical structure, the device performed an outstanding on/off photocurrent ratio of over 103, the good responsivity of 52.68 mA/W and high detectivity of 4.65 x 1011 Jones under 254 nm UV illumination without an external bias. More importantly, the detector showed superior stability with remaining high response after three weeks of the storage in ambient air without encapsulation. These findings offer a promising photodetector for many applications in the deep-UV region. |
