Feasibility and functional characterization of chitosan/gelatin/calcium phosphate as potential morphology for tissue engineering |
초록 |
Recent years, tissue engineering is emerging as a great potential alternative in treatment of injured tissues which aims to create artificial structures for cells to regenerate new tissue for replacing the damaged and diseased ones. Thus, the selection of biomaterials is one of the critical factors affecting tissue healing process. Among the wide range of materials, chitosan, gelatin and calcium phosphate were selected. This study was to investigate the effect of calcium phosphate coating on different concentration of chitosan-gelatin composites films. The composite coatings were assessed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transformed infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) with an energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). Over all, results shows that the new synthesized biodegradable materials possessed good flexibility for cellular attachment, and proliferation, promising a new prospects in biomaterials and tissue engineering. |
