Ink-jet printing is a technology where text, black and white illustrations, and color images are reproduced by placing microscopic colored dots on a porous ink-receiving layer. To accomplish this, ceramic inks are intensively studied in recent years. In this work, we prepared the indium tin oxide (ITO) ink and characterized the electrical, structural and morphological properties. The ITO ink was prepared by mechanically milling of ITO nanopowders and dispersion agents using a three roll mill. Transparent conductive ITO films were fabricated on the glass substrate by the spin-coating technique. The optimized films exhibit a sheet resistance of around 150 Ω/sq and an average visible transmission of around 80%. |
