제목 | Preparation and thermochromic property of Niobium doped VO2(M) nanoparticles for smart window application |
초록 | VO2 has been considered as one of the intelligent materials owing to its reversible phase transition at a low critical temperature. Its structural change makes VO2 more promising in applications sucn as optical devices and energy-saving window. However the transition temperature (Tc) of VO2 is still high to apply in smart window. The Tc can be tuned by doping with metal ions. The best reduction in the Tc has been obtained by the W-doping but its dramatic decrease makes it difficult to control the Tc. On the other hand, Nb-doping is known as that can reduce the Tc accurately. In this study, Nb-doped VO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by hydrolysis of VOSO4 mingled with doping materials. XRD patterns shows the crystal structure of monoclinic VO2 and it shows that the Nb had no influence on the VO2 structure. The adjusted Tc of VO2 was also confirmed by DSC analyses and the Tc decreased from 68℃ to 39℃ at 3at% Nb doping. Further characterizations were carried out using TEM and SEM. |
