Two-dimensional materials have received much attention due to their outstanding properties. Among the methods for synthesis of two-dimensional materials, chemical vapor deposition (CVD) methods employing various transition metal catalysts have been widely used to prepare high-quality and large-area two-dimensional materials. In this talk, a novel method for defect-engineering method of two-dimensional materials on dielectric substrates by CVD. The defect-engineered two-dimensional materials synthesized with this method shows interesting electrical and chemical characteristics. With these properties, it also enables the simultaneous exhibitng neuromorphic characteristics, which can thus be used as artifical synapse. |
