제목 | Alkali-Soluble Resin을 포함한 PBMA 라텍스 필름의 표면 성질에 미치는 Annealing 효과 |
초록 | The effects of postadded alkali-soluble resin to emulsifier-free monodispersed poly(n-butyl methacrylate) [PBMA] latexes on surfaceproperties were investigated using contact angle goniometer. The dynamic(receding) contact angles of 50/50 wt% mixture of ethylene glycol and D.D.I.water on polymeric surfaces were investigated with various annealingtemperature and its duration. After annealing at room temperature, 90℃, and150℃, the exudation and migration of alkali-soluble resin,poly(styrene/alpha-methylstyrene/acrylic acid) [SAA] to film-air interface,were observed using ATR FT-IR. As SAA concentration increased in themixture of PBMA latex and SAA resin, SAA concentration in the filmsurface increased. As annealing time increased at 90℃ and 150℃ respectively,SAA migrated to the film-air interface. These facts result in the change ofcontacts angle. As annealing temperature increased, contact angles wereincreased because of conformational change of SAA and migration of SAAto the film-air interface. |
