Conducting polymers have been regarded as promising electrode materials for redox capacitor due to their excellent electrochemical properties, low cost, easy fabrication, suitable morphology, and fast doping-dedoping process. In this study, we fabricated symmetric redox supercapacitor using poly(3,4-ehthylene dioxythiophene) (PEDOT) thin films as the electrodes using 0.1M lithium perchlorate (LiClO4) solution in propylene carbonate(PC) as electrolyte solution. We measured electrochemical properties of PEDOT thin film such as specific capacitance, coulombic efficiency. As a result, we get interesting result that PEDOT film electrode with lower conductivity resulted in higher capacitance than that with higher conductivity. |
