제목 Crown ether functionalized polyvinyl chloride nanofiber for selective radionuclide removal
초록 An electrospun polyvinyl chloride (PVC) nanofiber (NF) tethered with crown ethers (CEs) was fabricated for radioactive metal ion recovery. The PVC NF was initially azidated followed by click reaction with alkyne-bearing CEs. The preparation was facile and highly efficient as it can be accomplished through a series of NF soaking in appropriate reaction baths. The CE/PVC NF can be used to effectively capture radionuclides for water decontamination. Its performance for radioactive Cs+ removal is currently under investigation.
