제목 Nano particulation of peracetylated-β-cyclodextrin by using rapid expansion of supercritical solution process
초록 Rapid expansion of supercritical solution (RESS) processes was used to produce nanoparticles based on peracetylated-β-cyclodextrin (PAc-β-CD). The effect of concentration (0.1-1 wt/wt %), pre-expansion and extraction temperature, spray length from anozzle tip, nozzletypes (capillary and orifice) and length (5-50 mm) and internal diameter (ID) (50-150 μm) of nozzleon the particle size and particle morphology of PAc-β-CD nanoparticles were investigated at constant pressure of 34.5 MPa and temperature of 45 oC. The particle size and morphology was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy. Among all of these experimental parameters 50 m ID with the 5 mm length capillary nozzle gave the particles size with less than 40 nm and with spherical shape and same way experimental conditions of orifice nozzle obtained good average particle size distribution with 0.5 wt% of PAc-β-CD supercritical solution in CO2. The concentration of PAc-β-CD, capillary nozzle length and ID were shown to affect significantly the particle size while nozzle types affected the aggregation of particles and polydispersity.
