Effect of Chemical Composition in the Heterogeneous Polymerization Catalyst on the Molecular Structure of Polyethylene |

The effect of chemical composition on ethylaluminium dichloride (EADC) and internal donors in the heterogeneous Ziegler-Natta catalyst on ethylene-1-butene copolymerization and the resulting copolymer was investigated to enhance the properties of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and the operability of catalyst in the gas-phase polymerization reactor. SiO2-supported TiCl4 catalysts having different EADC/Ti molar ratio or internal donors were prepared by changing the amount of EADC or by adding internal donors in feed during the preparation of catalyst. |
