제목 Study of PAAm-Containing Polyelectrolyte Multilayer Films on Flat Substrates and Magnetic Colloidal Surfaces
초록 We have created polyelectrolyte multilayers (PEMs) containing PAAm homo- or copolymers driven by hydrogen bonding or electrostatic interaction. Surface properties of the PEMs such as surface functionality, wetting behavior, surface morphology were studied. Biological interactions on the PEM coatings were also studied using epithelial cell lines. While hydrogen bonded PAAm multilayer films exhibited cell-resistant property, electrstatically assembled PEMs showed various cell interactions depending on their deposition conditions. The PAAm-containing PEM coatings were coated on magnetic particles. The PEM-coated magnetic particles were examined by zeta-potential analysis and fluorescence optical microscopy. These coatings will provide the versatility on introducing chemical and biological functionalities using reactive groups of the PEM films.
