제목 Thermal and Mechanical Properties of Poly(lactic acid) (PLA)/Epoxidized Soybean Oil (ESO)/Organoclay Nanocomposites
초록 Plasticized poly(lactic acid) (PLA) based nanocomposites were prepared by melt blending of the PLA with different amount of epoxidized soybean oil (ESO) and organoclay in an internal mixer. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that an exfoliated nanocomposite was formed. The influence of the composition and thermal treatment on the structure, thermal and mechanical properties of the nanocomposites were investigated by transimission electron microscopy, differential scannning calorimetry, dynamic mechanical analysis, and tensile testing. The effect of aging on the structure and properties were also examined.
