제목 Enhancing Long-Term SynapticPlasticity using Anion Exchange Doping Method
초록 Generally, organic electrochemical transistor (OECT)-based neuromorphic devices display excellent short-term synaptic plasticity. However, their long-term synaptic plasticity and linearity during long-term potentiation/depression (LTP/LTD) process do not come up to the standard for applications of artificial neural network. Because the electrical equilibrium of an electrolyte is broken after ion penetration; ions injected into an organic semiconductor film readily return to an electrolyte. Here, OECT-based synaptic transistors are developed for enhancing long-term synaptic plasticity with anion exchange doping method. While conventional OECT-based synaptic transistors do not exhibit good long-term synaptic plasticity and LTP/LTD linearity of 3.30/-8.66, the OECT-based synaptic transistors with anion exchange doping method show 3 times better long-term synaptic plasticity and LTP/LTD linearity of 1.76/-3.82. This work provides a new design platform for OECT-based synaptic transistors​.
