제목 Effects of electrochemical charateristic of N and O Atomic Co-doping on Carbon Electrodes for Vanadium Redox Flow Battery
초록 Recently, because of various enviromental problems caused by fossil fuel, we need to study  alternative energy technology system. The biggest problem of using alternative energy is that it is hard to store energy. Therefore, we need researches of Energy Storage System(ESS) like Redox flow battery. Among them, Vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) get attention because it has semi-permanently usable and cheap properties. However, it is necessary to have study of improving the efficiency higher than the current level in order to commercialize VRFB. This study was done to improve VRFB performance by introducing N and O functional group. We compared electrochemical performance and characteristics of N-O co-doping electrode and O doping electrode. As a result, the initial voltage of the N-O co-doping electrode was lower than O electrode. For this reason, the voltage and energy efficiency of N-O co-doping electrode improve on the O doping electrode.
