제목 Visible-light-enhanced NO gas sensing at room temperature with ZnO thin film
초록 The sensing characteristics of ZnO gas sensors under various wavelength light illumination have been investigated at room temperature. Sensing measurements were performed on ZnO layers which were fabricated by atomic layer deposition (ALD) towards sub-ppm NO. The results indicated that the light-activated irradiation effectively improved the NO sensing characteristics and the blue light was significantly effective for the ZnO thin film sensors: an increase in the sensitivity, a decrease in the response/recovery time. The surface morphology and structural properties were obtained by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and photoluminescence spectrum. This is potential for the development of photo-activated NO gas sensor at room temperature.
