Structural, Electrical and Mechanical Properties of Epoxy Composites Reinforced with MWCNT-coated Basalt Fibers by non-covalent interaction |
초록 |
We report the structural, electrical and mechanical properties of epoxy composites reinforced with multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT)-coated basalt fibers (BFs). MWCNT-coated BFs were obtained by dip-dry coating of BFs in an aqueous MWCNT dispersion containing sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). The various spectroscopic analyses revealed the interactions between MWCNT and BFs via SDS. The electrical conductivity of epoxy composites with MWCNT-coated BFs increased significantly with increasing the dip-dry coating cycle. The composites with MWCNT-coated BFs above two coating cycles exhibited excellent electric heating performance under applied voltages. In addition, epoxy composites with MWCNT-coated BFs with one or two coating cycle have highly improved flexural properties, compared to epoxy composite reinforced with neat BFs. * This work was supported by Regional Development Research Program (19RDRP-B076272-06) funded by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korean government. |
