제목 Development of TS-1 membrane-based process for the production of high-purity ethylbenzene
초록 Zeolite membranes that possess advantages such as well-defined pores of molecular dimensions as well as good thermal, chemical, and mechanical stability have received a great attention for a new separation application in the petrochemical industry. In this work, we studied about the process of separation ethylbenzene from xylene mixture(EB, o-X, p-X) using TS-1 membrane. First, TS-1 seeds were synthesized by the microwave reactor with a certain ratio of Si/Ti. Then, the prepared seeds were grown on the mesoporous silica coated alumina support. Prepared zeolite membrane was evaluated by vapor permeation for xylene mixture. Temperature of operating system, kind of extractants in the mixed xylene was changed and showed the interesting performance.
