제목 | Synthesis and characterization of fully aliphatic polyimides containing adamantly groups |
초록 | Polyimides represent one of the most important classes of polymers in the microelectronics and photo electronics industries. High thermal stability, low dielectric constant, high transparency, good chemical resistance and excellent electrical properties are the outstanding key characteristics that enable polyimides to be applied in electronics, optical microelectric and display industries. Aliphatic and alicyclic polyimides are becoming increasingly important material for optolectronics and interlayer dielectric materials because of the better colorless transparency and low dielectric constant. Unlike aromatic polyimides they hardly form inter or intra molecular charge complexes, which increase the dielectric constant and lower the transparency. Due to their bulkiness, alicyclic structures are effective to decrease molecular density, giving polyimides with a low dielectric constant. In this work we demonstrate the synthesis and characterization of fully aliphatic polyimides using freshly synthesized diaminoadamantane, diaminodiadamantane, and commercially available bicyclo [2,2,2]oct-7-ene 2,3,5,6 tetra carboxylic dianhydride. To add flexibility to the so formed polyimides, we incorporated cyclohexane diamine derivatives along with adamanyl group. The synthesized polyimide films were characterized by various spectroanalytical techniques. The Aliphatic polyimides obtained had inherent viscosities 0.19~0.5 dL g-1 and showed good solubility, thermal stability, low dielectric constant and good transparency. |
