제목 Concomitant Functionalization of Core and Corona of Micelles by Metal Nanoparticles for Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering
초록 The optical properties of metal nanoparticles (NPs) such as Au NPs and Ag NPs have long been of interest because they displays localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) in visible region. In this work, we utilizing polystyrene-b-poly(acrylic acid) micelles to precisely localized Au and Ag NPs in separate location as a stategy to induce their plasmonic coupling for surface-enhanced Raman scattering. Here, analyte-tagged Au NPs were encapsulated inside PS core. In addition, the PAA corona was further functionalized by Ag NPs. Notably, the SERS activity from heterogeneous NPs assemblies are dramatically increased compared to individual constituent NPs. To studied further, we evaluate the SERS enhancement by varying the diameter of Au NPs.
