The light-emitting diodes (LEDs) using anisotropic nanoparticles such as colloidal quantum wells (CQWs) can be improved through controlling the transition dipole orientation of CQWs. In this study, we developed a layer-by layer CdSe/CdZnS CQWs that induced face-down assembly with photoinduced crosslinkers, confirming the effect of thickness, morphology, and assembly of the CQWs film on the performance of the LEDs. The controlled assembly of CQWs improve external quantum efficiency (EQE) and suppress roll-off in LED compared to random assembly of CQWs. As a results, this study can be platform to confirm an effect of the arrangement of the anisotropic CQWs in the LEDs |
